Answering this question has led to more shenanigans than Anne-Marie Bruzga-Luchak cares to admit – it has also shaped her into a better communicator, storyteller, and person.

As MeDM’s Head of Strategic Communications, Anne-Marie helps brands advance their organizational goals and align their messaging. Her warmth and empathy places clients at ease, even as she asks pointed questions about what they hope to achieve and why. An unparalleled writer and editor, Anne-Marie also brings a rare combination of technical and creative skills (that we plan to fully exploit). Her quick wit, sense of humour, and ability to drop the occasional f-bomb make her the perfect fit for our team.

Anne-Marie has more than 15 years of agency, corporate communications, and freelance marketing experience. Working in leadership roles and as part of a team, her career has spanned the software start-up, real estate, agriculture, tax accounting, arts, and post-secondary sectors. As a former journalist and print publication editor, she’s well versed in producing the best possible work under the hardest of deadlines.

Anne-Marie holds two Bachelor of Arts (English and political science) with distinction as well as a Master of Fine Arts in playwriting – all from University of Calgary. She has a Leadership Development Extension Certificate from Mount Royal University and is a past winner of International Association of Business Communicators’ Gold Quill Award of Merit.

When not facing the night of the living deadline, Anne-Marie enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, and sneaking down to the Crowsnest Pass with her family. A wild forager, she is happiest dangling off a cliff, searching for huckleberries or wandering in a forest, hunting for Red Tops.

Anne-Marie shares a remarkably lucky life with her husband, Todd, and their two children in Calgary, Alberta.
